NotBasicBlonde was founded and created by Olaysha Novozhylova, who is also a model, blogger, influencer, and the star podcast host of the NotBasicBlonde Podcast. She frequently collaborates with well-known clothes, jewelry, skincare, makeup, and beauty brands including Cartier, Revolve, TooFaced, Tarte, and many more. A fashion and lifestyle site called Not Basic Blonde is dedicated to encouraging young ladies to develop outstanding own styles. The Russian model had an excellent ten-year career on the runway and in fashion both in Atlanta and abroad. She even landed a few acting roles. Olaysha, a prominent influencer today, offers advice on beauty, fitness, and fashion to her network of more than 500,000 followers.
Olaysha’s mother, who has always been and still is a great fashionista, served as both her inspiration and motivation for launching her business. Novozhylova’s mother used to dress her according to the newest fashion trends when she was a little child. Olaysha has always enjoyed unique clothes, which is what motivated her to launch her brand and assist other ladies in looking stylish. Novozhylova founded her company more than four years ago. While she has no regrets, she wishes she had launched it sooner. In order to share her love of fashion with other women and to build a community of successful women who can support and complement one another, she founded her own business.
Novozhylova responded, “You have to remember that starting a business requires a lot of time and effort when asked what the major hurdles were while starting a firm. The main obstacle is that you must be wholly engaged, fully dedicated, and willing to make sacrifices. Being an influencer and podcast host does take a lot of effort, including planning and generating the content, holding weekly photoshoots, putting in long hours, and frequently working on holidays. It’s important to keep in mind that beginning a business takes a lot more time than working a 9 to 5 job, but it’s also incredibly gratifying. Being willing to invest in yourself is essential because it will pay you in the long run.
Olaysha gave this response when asked what she thought fear meant to her
“I think everyone has a fear of the new and the unknown. But it’s important to make it work for you, not against you. When fear works against you. It prevents you from advancing and attempting novel approaches. When fear cooperates with you, it motivates you to step beyond your comfort zone and gets you excited. I view fear as a challenge that will help me overcome my fears and advance. Gaining confidence comes naturally when you face your fears. Instead, Novozhylova responded. “To me, success means to have a goal, plan the steps to reach it, and realize it. ” when asked what success means to her.
