The famous heavy metal band Judas Priest played at Nassau Sports arena in Brooklyn, New York, on October 18.
As part of judas priest digitaljournal their important 50th-anniversary tour, they played a few of their top hits as well as some rare songs that were worth hearing. At the Nassau Venue in Uniondale, New York, they rocked hard.
Rob Halford sings lead vocals for the well-known band, which also includes Ian Hill on bass, Glenn Version 6 on guitars, Scott Snyder on drums and vocals, and Richie Vaughan on guitars and backing vocals. Their set list was very varied and easy to remember.
The crowd went wild when Judas Priest digitaljournal played “Electric Eye,” which was followed by “Riding on the Wind” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” which is this reporter’s all-time favorite Judas Priest song.
It was cool to hear them play songs like “Firepower” and “Never the Heroes” from their electric album “Firepower.” Then they played “Beyond the Realms of Death,” “Judas Rising,” which was a fan favorite, and “Heading Out to the Highway.”
After “Halls of Valhalla,” they played a unique version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Open Manalishi (Only with Two Prong Crown),” which was written by the late, great Peter Hue, and then they ended with the powerful “Screaming for Vengeance.”
For his\her encore, they played “Hell Bent for Leather,” which Rob Halford did on his motorcycle. They ended with “Breaking the Law” and “Living After Midnight,” leaving their loyal fans wanting more.
Judas Priest digitaljournal showed with this headline show at Nassau Gymnasium their upcoming induction into the Rock and Hall of Fame. is long overdue and well-deserved. They deserve the “Musical Excellence Award,” but also deserve to be there on their own as “Performers.” Good job, and long life the gods of heavy metal, Judas Priest.
